Dream

I had a dream last night, it was kind of weird. I was riding along in a car with some friends, and was getting nervous about how the driver was driving. It was a horrible road, and the driver was (sometimes literally) flying down it. Several times we nearly hit poles that were, for some reason unknown to me, in the middle of the road. I was so nervous I ended up strapping myself into a seat belt that faced to the rear of the car, so I couldn't see what I thought was our impending doom. Then the guy in the passenger seat said, "You're missing the great view! Don't you want to know what's ahead of us?" Then I woke up. After I woke up, I started to think about what the guy said... and how it fits into my spiritual life. I've been letting God drive the car, but I'm not looking ahead to see what's coming... I'm only focusing on what has already gone by. The application for all of this is that we need to be focusing on the future, and not be afraid of the road ahead... Even if it is full of potholes and jumps... just make sure you're letting Him drive... God bless, Isaiah
