3 days and counting...

2 days in 26 minutes... woot... Getting all excited for the wedding, but also realizing that there's a lot left to be done... at least we'll have a lot of help. Mostly what is left to do is get stuff set up (decorations), and to cook stuff for the dinners... woot... well, I just wanted to post before bed... later, isaiah

4 Days left... 3 in a few hours

Today we talked about the ceremony and set in stone how we want it to go. Then I went to pick up my tux, but found that one of the buttons was falling off, so they have to sew it back on. I'll pick it up tomorrow. At this point, I'm feeling kind of numb... but slowly getting more and more nervous... It is going to be a huge change, getting married and all. Kinda freaky, but only because it means change. Change is always scary... no matter who you are. I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the wedding... and looking very forward to getting away for a while on the honeymoon. Well, that's all I have... just wanted to update... later, Isaiah

4 days left...

Another day, another blog... I'm keeping up quite a trend, eh? Today was pretty hectic... had Sunday School this morning early, then Church, then we had our Annual Congregational meeting where they decided how much I get paid, and such. It was nerve-racking for me... but it all came out well... and God will provide for what I need. In just a few days... I'll be a married man. Sara and I will be traveling along i25 heading to Estes Park for our honeymoon. I look forward to being able to just be alone with Sara and get away for a while. 5 days from now and 4 in less than half an hour. Crazy... well, i better get to bed... later, isaiah

It is now 6 days from our Wedding (November 25th), and will be 5 in about 30 minutes... here's a pic of Sara and I: well its on the side anyway. I'm all excited and nervous and all tingly inside for the wedding... er something. Anyway, its off to bed for some great ministry tomorrow!! Isaiah Associate Youth Minister RCC

Chilly...

It is a cold morning here in Riverton today. 21* F... it was 18 when I woke up, which still isn't that cold, but hey... I'm a wuss. :D Today I sold my Gameboy Advance SP on ebay... it sold within a few hours of me posting it... I'm happy about that. I can't say I'm all that sorry to let it go... because, well... I'm not... It gave me a few good months, but I haven't touched it for 4 months now... I figured it would be better off in its new home where it will be played and not just gather dust. Other than that, I'm exhausted... not exactly sure why, but that's ok. Well, I'm off to do something... take a nap, post on forums, or somesuch... later, Isaiah

Youth Group 11/17

Today is Thusday, so we had youth group... it was excellent. Since it was the last Youth Group for two weeks I decided that the youth would be able to pick the game that they played. They picked... I kid you not... Musical chairs... haha... Then we played "Captain" or as the kids call it "Poopdeck". Then we had prayer request and praise time and that was good... The lesson went well... I love the stories Stephen James writes for the lessons... he is the man. Anyway, I'm rambling, and its time for bed... so have a good one all Isaiah 8 days left in 2 hours (aka Friday) until Sara and I's wedding

Forum Posts, etc...

Currently Reading Orthodoxy By G. K. Chesterton see related Lately I've been spending some of my free time on the PalmAddicts forum. PalmAddicts is a website for Palm handheld devices, and displays the latest news and such. Its a great website for people who use Palms, and I've found 4 new programs (all FREE!!) that I'm now using... Excellent. Other than that, I've been recovering from Fall Fling, which was quite exhilirating, but also draining. Now I'm getting back into the swing of things, but that won't help much because Thursday will be the last Youth Group until December 8th because of Thanksgiving and Sara and I's Honeymoon (10 Days to the Wedding!!!)... So that'll be weird, but kind've nice... anyway, enough rambling, I'm off, later, Isaiah

We made it home from Fall Fling/Snow Is Falling

We made it back from Fall Fling yesterday around 5:30 pm. It was a very successful trip in my mind and we had a ton of fun learning, playing and getting to know new friends. The trip home was especially quiet, albiet most of the youth were sleeping... hehe. Now that we're back it has begun to snow. Not weak little girlie snow (whatever that is) but as if the sky is unloading all of its moisture upon the earth... It is rather amazing, and I love the snow... I just hope it doesn't snow next week, something about all the people traveling for our wedding on the 25th makes me leery of it... Anyway, that's all for now, later, Isaiah

Fall Fling Blog #1 11/12 1:40pm

Taking advantage of the free internet during Fall Fling 2005, I'm now surfing the web... woot... We arrived here yesterday about 4:15pm (apparently 45 minutes early for registration) with all 13 of us safe, if not quite conscious. It was quite an uneventful trip, so any worries about travels were unfounded... Right at this moment the 3rd (and final) workshop for the youth is starting, then we'll go straight to the final main session (and the finale of Captain Obvious). Dr. Nay is the speaker, and he has been great so far... all of the youth have liked the messages (a rather large feat), and none from RCC have complained about his bad jokes (yet). Summit Praise Band (renamed Overzealous Emu on Friday night) have been great. All in all it has been very fun so far and there is very little chance that anything will keep this Fall Fling from being great. Anyway, I better get going, I'll report back later, Isaiah Associate Youth Minister

An Awesome week this has been...

Yea... lame, I know... This week was great for ministry, I'm back to two jobs, and loving it. I've done some revamps to the Church's website, rearranged some stuff on my computer to make me more efficient, and have been able to get lessons done in advance even!! I'm much more excited about ministry, and just loving life right now... Fall Fling is coming up next week, and so far we already have 12 coming on the trip... I'm pumped to hear Dr. Nay again, and to see everyone from college. Well, that's all I got for now, heading to watch Episode III with the Smith's.... later, Isaiah
